NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, Nashua, dedicated its church edifice on Sunday, September 15, 1940. At both morning and afternoon services, the auditorium was filled to overflowing. A short history of the church was ready by the First Reader.

This church was organized and incorporated on October 19, 1898, as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. At a meeting on November 5, 1898, the officers of the church were elected and committees appointed. The Sunday school was organized on January 1, 1901. A Reading Room has been maintained since the organization of the church.

The present church edifice, located at the junction of Concord and Manchester Streets, was acquired in 1928.

According to regulations of the Christian Science denomination all indebtedness on the church property must be canceled before dedication.—Nashua Telegraph.
