"O learn to lose with God!"

"WELL for him who, all things losing,
E'en himself doth count as naught,
Still the one thing needful choosing
That with all true bliss is fraught."

While she was studying the writings of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the statement (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 341), "O learn to lose with God!" stood out with such sovereign appeal to a student that she was impelled to ask herself, How can I more earnestly "learn to lose with God"? After a thorough self-examination, the answer to this prayer came in these arousing words (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 242): "In patient obedience to a patient God, let us labor to dissolve with the universal solvent of Love the adamant of error,—self-will, self-justification, and self-love,—which wars against spirituality and is the law of sin and death."
