A Christian Science period in the Columbia "Church of the Air"...

A Christian Science period in the Columbia "Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station WKRC, Cincinnati, Sunday noon, August 20, 1939, at 12 o'clock (Eastern Standard Time), by Alexis Darusmont, a former First Reader of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Cincinnati, Ohio. This program was given under the auspices of the Committee on Publication for Ohio with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Mrs. Emma Wellmanhoff, soloist, was assisted by Mrs. Mildred Steinwart Welsh at the organ.

Mr. Darusmont opened the program by reading selections from the King James Version of the Bible as follows: Matthew 6:5—13, 19-26, 31-33. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 1:1-16 (next page); 3:12-16; 4:12-22; 11:21-31.

Following the singing of Hymn No. 253 in the Christian Science Hymnal, the words of which were written by Mary Baker Eddy, Mr. Darusmont read an address substantially as follows:
