Since the publication of my testimony in the Christian Science Sentinel...
Since the publication of my testimony in the Christian Science Sentinel of March 4, 1916, so many blessings have come into my life that it would be difficult to enumerate them all. After years of continued good health, contentment, and prosperity, I desire to express my heartfelt gratitude for Christian Science and for its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, as well as to bear witness to the permanency of my healing.
I was healed twenty-seven years ago of a chronic disease which was supposed to be inherited and incurable. After a number of years spent in search of health through material remedies and climatic conditions, I at last went to a wellknown sanatorium in New Mexico, located in a small valley surrounded by mountains. I was subject to periodical sick spells, which always left me in a weaker condition, even though I was placed under the constant care of a physician.
While lying in bed one day, I gazed at the rugged mountains around me, and likened my condition to that of a man endeavoring to climb a mountain in the hope of gaining his health and freedom at the top.
