Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Canal Zone.

The Star and Herald and the Panama American occasionally reprint editorials from The Christian Science Monitor, giving due credit. Both printed articles commenting on the remodeling and building of a new church auditorium by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Ancon, and the building of a new church by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Cristobal. Both articles carried pictures of these new structures. Both papers published reprints of the lectures. Only one article was printed that was unfavorable to Christian Science and the correction by the Committee was published.

The editor of the Panama American met a special correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor and was so impressed by some statements voiced during the brief visit that he wrote an editorial about it. This editor expressed the wish for a copy of Science and Health to use as a reference book. This was presented to him by the Committee.
