I should like to give grateful testimony to a healing I experienced through Christian Science.
Before I had any idea of the fact that God is our only physician and helper in trouble, I was suffering from a severe case of eye trouble, which was very painful and, according to medical opinion, incurable. I could no longer read anything at all, even with glasses. I had to have special glasses for the street. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I came to see that in reality nothing can be diseased; that God is reflected by man, and consequently everything is healthy, harmonious, and beautiful. I learned further that "there is no fear in love." After a very short time I was able with the aid of glasses to read the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was also able to lay off completely the glasses I used on the street. At the same time I was also freed from heart disease.
It is now seven years since I first heard of Christian Science. Since that time God has been my physician. I no longer rely on material means for healing, and I feel better and healthier than ever before. Today I can walk and run again, which at one time I was unable to do.
