When our youngest son, who is now a strong lad of eleven, first began to crawl, it was noticed that he would always do so only on one side; and if we were to lift him and then replace him on the floor, he would turn to that side before starting to crawl. After a while we found that the little one had infantile paralysis. The leg which he did not use remained very thin, while the other leg grew fat and strong.

I was very much distressed, because I feared that my understanding of Christian Science would be insufficient to meet the case. This fear was accentuated by the so-called knowledge, which I had gleaned through my contact with materia medica, which believes this ailment to be almost incurable. My husband, therefore, cabled to a practitioner in London for help, and within a fortnight to three weeks after he sent the cable the healing was complete. This healing proved to us that distance is no hindrance to the healing efficacy of Christian Science.

We have had many other healings in our family of five, God, as revealed by Christian Science, being our only Physician.
