One winter I had a glorious proof of divine Love, which I should like to relate.

My husband was suddenly taken with a cold and high fever, and stayed at home. While I was at business I tried time and again to realize the truth, and hoped that I should surely find my husband much better in the evening. But when I came home the fever had increased, and my husband could not speak for hoarseness, nor could he drink. His throat was congested, and he breathed with difficulty. For a moment only, thoughts of fear would have rushed upon me, but I overcame them and sought refuge in our faithful God and remained steadfast in the truth. For hours I read in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and in the German Edition of The Herald of Christian Science. My husband's breathing became perceptibly easier. Suddenly, at half past eleven, he called me in a clear voice to ask for something to drink. His temperature had gone down a great deal. After two days he was able to go back to his business. My joy and gratitude for this healing were indescribably great.

Since then we have received many other blessings and are constantly happy and grateful that we have found this glorious religion which gives us the true explanation of God and Christ.—(Mrs.) Elsa Wolf, Kassel, Germany.
