The Christian Science Board of Directors

In the course of applying its policies concerning foreign exchange and balance of trade, the German Government is limiting the importation of Christian Science literature. Even the quantity of our books and periodicals that can be sent to Germany as gifts is restricted.

In this situation, for branch churches or individuals in other countries to send literature to branch churches or individuals in Germany would be unwise. The need for our literature in Germany is being supplied, to the extent permitted, by the Publishers and the Literature Distribution Committee connected with The Mother Church.
