Many years ago I began the study of metaphysics as our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, has given it to us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," not for physical healing, but because I felt that through this study I should find an answer to questions constantly crowding into my thought. I wanted to know what I really am, my true being; what and where God is; what is His image and likeness; why we are seemingly here on this earth for a while and then pass on, and where we go after we pass on. All these questions were answered as I gained an increasingly clearer understanding of God and His idea, His spiritual, perfect creation.

As I continued my study and application of the truth, many false beliefs as to personality, character, relationships, and activity were corrected and replaced by the realization of individuality, identity, man's relationship to God, divine Principle; and, because of that relationship, his necessarily right relationship to every idea in Mind. I learned also that Mind is omniaction, and this fact understood and expressed must result in right activity.

During the years the healing of practically all forms of disease through the application of Christian Science has come under my observation. I have been healed of various ills as they have appeared; such as of an extreme case of pneumonia, and also of constantly recurring attacks of intestinal fever. But I am most grateful for the protective and regenerative power of the truth which has set my feet in the way of Love, so that I am not reacting to the temptations or suggestions of mortal mind as I did formerly.
