[Written Especially for Young People]

Home! How rich in associations this word is! The homes we make are the foundation of our civilization. Though the so-called forces of evil have always tried to disintegrate home, though we see on all sides today broken homes, unhappy homes, and thousands of people who have not been able to externalize their dream of a home, still the ideal persists. In the heart of every human being lies the wish for a home.

Young people leaving school or college have this problem to face. It is just as important to find the right home as it is to find the right work. In fact, social workers connected with large factories are making studies of the workmen's homes, because they see so many evidences that the quality of a man's work is so often affected by the condition of his home.

We Christian Scientists have to face the fact that our thinking determines for us our environment. Christian Science, the Science by which we live, makes demonstration a necessity of daily living, and if we take our steps in order in this demonstration, there is no limit to the beauty and harmony we may bring into our lives.
