Lecturer: Dr. Hendrik J. de Lange; introduced by Hermann Briege, who said:—

In Psalms 27 we read, "Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path." Christian Science shows us this way, the way which leads to harmony, health, and salvation. And the Christian Science lectures, established by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and delivered by members of the Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church in great love and service to mankind, are feeding all who hunger and thirst after righteousness and truth, sustaining them from life's source, the all-embracing power of God, good, whereby they are finding salvation and healing from every inharmonious condition. By our allowing the truth to pour into our thinking "through flood-tides of Love" (Science and Health, p. 201) our consciousness is transformed; and through the transformation and spiritualization of our consciousness we are enabled to give up the beliefs of the material senses and recognize spiritual facts alone as the sole relities of being. When our thinking is at one with God, the infinite source of harmony, we can face any inharmonious condition without fear and destroy it by the truth.
