Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

The public press, as each year goes by, increases in friendliness towards Christian Science. Only two corrections have been required this year, and they were cheerfully and promptly published. Items of interest relating to our organization, when submitted, were in most cases accepted. Several lectures were printed in full, and in no case were there less than two hundred and fifty to one thousand word excerpts given.

Our local newspapers are still giving space for our Lesson-Sermon excerpts. Thirty-five newspapers are now making use of them regularly.

In accordance with the offer made by The Christian Science Publishing Society to furnish the Monitor to editors at places where there are no branch churches or societies of The Mother Church in exchange for advertising, there are seventy newspapers now taking advantage of this offer, and your Committee is regularly receiving expressions of appreciation of our daily newspaper.
