Ofttimes school problems arise with young children, and without the help of divine Mind a mother may be led astray through a false sense of injustice, overconfidence in human goodness, or self-justification.

I am most grateful for the unfailing help which came to me some years ago in solving a problem involving my little boy and his schoolteacher. I had received a note in which the teacher said, "The boy is disobedient, untruthful, dishonest, and a disturber of the peace of the whole class." As I had always kept in touch with the child's teacher and this was the first complaint which had come to me, I recognized the need of turning absolutely to God for His loving guidance and wisdom. After a long time spent in earnestly listening for the voice of Truth, I felt well equipped to call upon the teacher.

The class was being dismissed as I entered the room, and the teacher in a very disturbed voice called the boy to a front seat, and said to me, "I am going to question him and prove to you that every word I have said is true." She then began in a commanding tone to question the child. I was gratefully listening for God's voice and refused to hear another; I was silently declaring the only teacher to be God and the only presence to be Love. After a few minutes the teacher stopped her questions and said, "You see, the boy can't answer; he knows that every word I say is true."
