Although I am still a young student of Christian Science, I have had so many proofs of God's care that I can truly quote the words of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 348, 349), "If such are the present fruits, what will the harvest be, when this Science is more generally understood?"

Over two years ago, one of my children, then about seven years old, climbed up a clothesline pole and in trying to reach from one pole to another, fell down on the cement walk and fractured his right arm just above the wrist. The children turned to the textbook for aid in my absence. When I returned I found a badly swollen and painful arm, which kept the child up almost all night spasmodically. Work was taken up by a practitioner, and in two days the child went back to school, healed and not incapacitated in the least. Although the physical evidence of swelling stayed on for some time, it finally disappeared.

Other healings in our home were of carbuncle, boils, influenza, fever, constipation, and acute indigestion.
