Words can never convey the gratitude I want to express for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me and mine. I have seen many diseases healed in my family in the last twenty years.

When I first came into Christian Science I was a mental and physical wreck and the doctors wanted to operate for what they told my daughters was cancer. I suffered day and night from this trouble, and the doctors said that I was too weak to stand the operation, so they would build me up first. Having had a sister pass on with this disease I was not willing to undergo an operation such as she had had. A friend told me that she was operated on for this disease but was not healed; so, upon the recommendation of a nurse in the hospital, she turned to Christian Science and was healed. I had passed through a double bereavement and for the next five years I had lived over again the great loss of my loving husband and a little son, who, because of a school law, had to have his tonsils removed, and passed on the same day, although he had not been ill at all before. This was the last straw. I felt that there must be some other way, and that no doubt God had sent this friend to me in the time of my great need. I lost no time in calling on a Christian Science practitioner. After one week's treatment I had no more pain and could not even tell when the growth disappeared. I was healed of grief at the same time. I had read the Bible frequently and felt that it would some day be understandable to me; and it surely is now.

I have also been healed of weak lungs. The doctors said I could not live in this climate in the winter, but since coming into Christian Science I have had no further trouble. I have been healed very quickly of a severe case of influenza, and also of cedar poisoning. I had sick headaches most of my life, until I had some understanding of this wonderful truth.
