Gratitude for many blessings received through Christian Science impels me to add my testimony to that of countless others who have been similarly helped. The first benefit which followed the taking up of the study of Christian Science was a greater sense of happiness than I had ever known. As a young piano teacher I had become discouraged because I did not seem to have enough work to meet my needs; but discouragement took wings and I soon found that I had all the piano pupils for whom I had time.

Many times have I been grateful for the healing of our eldest child, when but a few weeks old, of constipation in an acute form. Although the condition had continued for days, it was healed instantly through the work of a practitioner, and the little girl, now twelve years of age, has never had a return of that ailment. No material remedy has been used for any member of our family since that time.

I was healed in a few hours of the effects from the bite of a poisonous black spider when it seemed that I could not live and the neighbors had threatened to have my husband arrested if a physician was not called. However, they kindly acknowledged the power of Truth when they saw its proof.
