Annual Meeting of The Mother Church was held on June 6.
In
the measure in which it is now available, it has taken long centuries for spiritual truth to reach human consciousness; for the revelation of the truth about God and man, God's image, to reach humanity.

Early summer is in its full glory at the twenty-five acre hilltop tract at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, on which is located the Sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association; and the gradual unfolding of leaf and bud and flower during the past weeks has declared more definitely each day that the period "between taking up the white carpets and putting down the green ones".

With sincere gratitude for a healing I have received through Christian Science I give this testimony.
I should like to tell of some of our many healings, and of the protection we have had in Christian Science.
I suppose there comes into the life of everybody, sooner or later, some experience that is almost too intimate, too deep, for expression.
Christian Science has bestowed upon my family and me a sense of peace, joy, and unfoldment, bringing into our experience the fulfillment of that promise to be found in the Bible, "The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Forty-eight years ago I was healed, through Christian Science, of consumption in the last stages, after the physicians had frankly told me there was no hope.
As I hear the testimonies at the Christian Science Wednesday evening meetings, and read those in the Christian Science periodicals, expressing gratitude for the wonderful proofs of the healing power of Christ, I feel it my duty, as well as a privilege, to give through the Sentinel my testimony of healing, and to tell how I became interested in Christian Science.
Gratitude for many blessings received through Christian Science impels me to add my testimony to that of countless others who have been similarly helped.
Christian Science has met my needs for the past eighteen years.
