Lecturer: John Randall Dunn; introduced by Mrs. Marie Jenks Adams, who said:—

It is over twenty-eight years since I was given my first proof that Christian Science heals disease and that it is not merely what is called faith healing, for I turned to it only as a last resort and did not expect to be healed. But through the understanding of a loving Christian Science practitioner I was quickly and permanently healed: I have never been ill an entire day since. Not long after, through my own small understanding, I was able to prove that Christian Science can heal a sick business as easily as a sick body; and later on it sustained that same business, without loss, through a panic or business depression such as many are believing in at the present time. The physical healing in Christian Science is wonderful, but much more wonderful is the sense of fearlessness, freedom, and protection that comes through the realization of an ever present God of love and our relationship to Him. The healing and joy that came to me so long ago and have remained, can come to anyone in this audience, for Christian Science is surely the Comforter that Jesus promised to send.
