I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings that have come to me through the study and application of the truth. For many years I suffered from severe pains in my back and head, which later developed into a form of paralysis. There were times when I could not walk or even sit up in bed. When told by a physician that I would have to give up for a year, I turned to God. I had been reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, but not whole-heartedly. Through a coworker's advice I turned to page 495 and read, "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea." The thought came to me that I was God's idea; and like light shining through the darkness, the healing came. Since then I have been healed of colds, broken nose, sprained ankle, pneumonia, and heart trouble through the loving help of practitioners.

Christian Science means everything to me. I marvel at the wisdom of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who through prayer and sacrifice was able to reveal the truth about God and man.
