When I turned to Christian Science for physical healing, I would search the testimonies to see if someone had been healed of a case similar to mine, as it was thought mine was a terrible conditions, and that if Christian Science could heal me, it could heal anything in the way of disease.

In 1920, after trying many different methods of treating disease, I underwent a very serious operation for what the doctors called spinal tuberculosis. After lying in bed for nine weeks I left the hospital. For several weeks I did not improve, but rather grew worse. It was then that I turned to Christian Science for help, and was healed. This was in the summer of 1921. During the fall of that year I did quite a little work on a rance, and the following year I was able to work steadily. In 1925 I was examined for life insurance, and the doctor said he could find no trace of the disease; he pronounced me a healthy man, and I was accepted by the insurance company.

My desire in giving this testimony is that it may help others who are searching for health through Christian Science. I want to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for giving to the world in her writings a guide to health and happiness. I am also grateful to the practitioners who have lovingly helped me along the way. I am truly grateful for this wonderful and regenerating discovery.
