San Diego, California (Fifth Church).—Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, at 3777 Forty-second Street, has now been dedicated. Christian Science churches must be free from indebtedness to dedicate, and this was a joyous occasion for the church membership as it opened a new era of growth and service in the community. The customary Christian Science Sunday service was followed, and included was a brief history of the church and appropriate words of dedication by the First Reader.

The church building is one story in height and is of magnesite stone dash stucco construction.
