For the hymn containing these words, in the Christian Science...

"He that has God his guardian made,
Shall under the Almighty's shade
Secure and undisturbed abide."

For the hymn containing these words, in the Christian Science Hymnal, I had cause recently to be immeasurably grateful. After reading the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, as I was going about my early morning activities, this hymn had been constantly in my thought and I had experienced a very clear realization of the loving care of our Father-Mother God. Later, our two-year-old daughter pushed herself over in her high chair; and even as I heard her scream and turned to see her falling, a great sense of gratitude welled up for the protective thought which had gone before. After a short time the baby complained of her back and was unable to stoop over; so, because of the intense fear expressed by another member of the family, it seemed best to call a practitioner. So quick and sure was the Word of God that the baby was free and happy instantly. When this baby was but seven months old she was beautifully cared for during a very severe attack of chicken pox; and in the case of our elder daughter mumps vanished completely in less than two hours.
