Among the Churches

Current Notes

Weston-super-Mare, England (First Church).—The new temporary church building recently erected in Graham Road by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Weston-super-Mare, is of asbestos and wood. The auditorium has a seating capacity of two hundred and fifty. There are reading and library rooms in front, and Readers' and committee rooms at the rear, with good space for parking cars at one side.—Weston Mercury.

Calistoga, California (Society).—After conducting services in a small building on Washington Street for several years, the members of the Christian Science Society of Calistoga have purchased more commodious quarters at the corner of Cedar and Berry Streets. The latter quarters are now being put into shape and will contain a regular church service room, Sunday school room, cloak rooms, and all conveniences attached thereto. The main service room will have a seating capacity of one hundred.—Oakland Tribune.
