Over twenty years ago I first experienced the healing effects of Christian Science. I was suffering from a double rupture, and had been wearing a truss for about a year. The surgeon who examined me pronounced the rupture incurable, unless I submitted to a surgical operation. He said, "Take your choice; it is either an operation, or you will have to wear a truss all your life." At this time Christian Science was recommended to me, and I am happy to state that in two months' time I was completely healed through the loving help of a practitioner. In order to please my mother I submitted to another examination by the same surgeon, who pronounced me completely cured. I have not worn a truss since, and have had no ill effects whatever.

Through the power of Truth I have also been permanently healed of terrific headaches, from which I had suffered for about five years. The pain was so intense that as often as two or three times a week I was compelled to go to bed the moment I returned home from business.

I trust that this testimony may help others. I am grateful to God for leading me into Christian Science; and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving this practical religion to the world. I am very thankful for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church.
