Patchogue Argus

Patchogue, New York (First Church).—Plans are now under way for the building of the new church edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Patchogue. Construction work will start at once on the first unit of the church, which will later serve as the Sunday school room. This room is designed to seat over two hundred persons, and will be large enough to meet any immediate needs of the congregation; and additional sections will be added as time goes on. The new building will be located at the corner of North Ocean Avenue and Roe Boulevard West, a site acquired by the church in 1924. According to plans the new edifice will be a very attractive structure of brick and stucco in English design.
