I became a student of Christian Science about ten...

I became a student of Christian Science about ten months after a doctor had said I must have an operation. Since that time, over ten years ago, I have not taken any medicine internally or externally. One day, in attempting to get on to the running board of my car, I fell, and the car with two men in it ran over my ankle and foot. I got up and said that I was not hurt; but the two men were full of fear. My ankle and foot did not swell, and in three or four days I forgot all about the occurrence. This proved to me that God protects us everywhere. I have the privilege of belonging to The Mother Church and am also a member of a branch church. I am grateful for Christian Science and for all of the literature, especially for The Christian Science Monitor, which is a first-class, clean daily newspaper.
