It is with great joy that I give this testimony. Having been brought up in Christian Science, it is impossible for me to tell of all the wonderful healings and blessings I have experienced through its teaching.

When a young girl of about twelve years, I became ill with a fever, and my parents sent for a physician to see if it were contagious. He pronounced it typhoid fever, and was surprised at my refusal to accept his prescription. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and in less than a week from the first sign of the difficulty I was walking eight blocks to school. I had not spent one full day in bed. I have since been healed of constipation, of the necessity for wearing glasses, and of heart trouble; while an attack of influenza was healed in a few hours. I had been suffering a great part of the day, but finally it was as though I had taken off a garment that had been crushing me, for I was healed. Financial difficulties have given place to plenty; and I am so grateful for the purification of thought which comes with this study. While suffering from a severe cold on the lungs, I lost twenty pounds in less than a month. When this cold was seen in its true light as no part of God's kingdom, it was quickly and permanently healed. This occurred twelve years ago. For a time I seemed to suffer from cramp. When this was manifested I would immediately call for help, because in a few minuted it would seem impossible for me to stand, or, when lying down, to hold a book, the pain was so intense; and I would also manifest much weakness. After help in Science had been given, the condition never lasted longer than twenty minutes. When the fear of the condition was overcome, I was healed.

In so many ways I have been guided and protected! To me it would be impossible to exist without my little knowledge of the Christ, Truth; and I hope by my living to attest my sincerity. I am grateful for having had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for the privilege of assisting in the activities of the latter.
