The Sunday Sun reported an address by a clergyman at Richmond, Virginia, in which he quoted Rabbi Wise as saying that sixty thousand Jews in New York belong to the Christian Science church. When he added that they seem to be entering Christianity by the back door, we must enter a protest. Permit me, therefore, to inform your readers that there is nothing secret or irregular about Christian Science, if that is the intended implication. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which contains the full statement of Christian Science, is an open book in all Christian Science Reading Rooms. Christian Scientists are willing to have their Christianity judged, not by somebody's mistaken opinion, but by their own works. And Christian Science is not hiding its light under a bushel.
