I should like to say how very grateful I am for Christian Science

I should like to say how very grateful I am for Christian Science. For many years I suffered from malaria and a painful heart trouble. I dreaded the heart attacks very much, as they came on so suddenly and left me weak for days afterward. I had a doctor attending me, and took all sorts of medicine. Shortly after taking up the study of Christian Science I had an attack of malaria. The first day the fever left me after I had been singing hymns, but as it returned two days afterward, my husband asked for Christian Science treatment from a dear friend. The fever left me at once, and I was able to go out that evening. This was a wonderful experience for me, as previous attacks of fever had meant several days in bed. I have not had any return of the difficulty. The heart trouble disappeared after I had been reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for a short time.

I am also very grateful for the healing of fear concerning our children. Before my marriage I had been a nurse for several years, and so whenever the children fell ill I used to be full of fear; but that has been healed, now that I know God governs all His little ones.

I have had many healings. Some have been instantaneous, some have taken time, and some problems are still to be worked out. Besides the healings mentioned above I have been healed of pyorrhea, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, headaches, and influenza. The children have been healed of malaria, diarrhea, dysentery, colds, coughs, constipation, and weak ankles. I should also like to say how grateful I am for the protection and help we had when one of the children had an infectious disease. Since the first Sunday I attended a Christian Science service we have depended solely on Christian Science, and have not used any medicine in the family, except in two cases of so-called infectious diseases when we were obliged by law to call in a doctor.
