I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me. I have had several healings through the loving help of practitioners, and have received much benefit from its teachings. I received my first healing in Christian Science sixteen years ago, being troubled at that time with rheumatism. The healing seemed to be slow, but when it came, was permanent and complete; and for the last fifteen years there has been no return of that ailment. I was also healed, about three years ago, of erysipelas, which also seemed difficult to overcome; but there has likewise been no return of this trouble. I myself made a demonstration three years ago. I had spilled boiling oil and grease on the back of my left hand, and received an instantaneous healing by declaring the truth as we are taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I had been wearing glasses for reading for fourteen years, and a year ago had Science treatments for my eyes; since that time I have been able to read the Lesson-Sermon without the use of glasses.

For these and many other healings I am truly grateful. I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; to Mrs. Eddy, for giving us Christian Science; and to all the practitioners who have given me a helping hand.—Nels A. Peterson, Vimmerby, Sweden.
