Having received so many blessings through Christian Science treatment and the study of Christian Science, I feel I should like to express my gratitude through our periodicals, so that others may know that Christian Science does heal, and permanently too.

Some healings seemed to be slow in coming, but others were instantaneous. A number of years ago I was healed of what was called St. Vitus's dance. About five and a half years ago a severe attack of what is known as yellow jaundice was overcome in about two weeks. Three years ago I was healed of what I believed to be appendicitis, in a few days, although the fear of the return of it was quite a while in leaving.

The truth of what our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 14), "Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual,—neither in nor of matter,—and the body will then utter no complaints. If suffering from a belief in sickness, you will find yourself suddenly well," has been proved many times in the overcom ing of minor dislocations, homesickness, fear, and severe pain in many forms.
