I did not take up the study of Christian Science for...
I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, but to please my grandparents, who had been Scientists for over twenty years. I have, however, had many beautiful healings, for which I am most grateful. I was healed of a growth, a practitioner working for me for over a year before it disappeared; finally, one day, without the least bit of pain, it went. This was about four years ago, and it has never returned. I am most grateful for this demonstration, as it made me study and try to learn more about God and man's relationship to Him. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for all the beautiful healings I have had since taking up the study of Christian Science. God has been my only physician for the past eight or nine years, and Christian Science has helped me to overcome many difficulties I could not have overcome otherwise. I am grateful for the periodicals, for class instruction, and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. I am grateful for every channel we have through which we may gain more of this truth.
