In gratitude for all the blessings that my wife, our children, and I have received through Christian Science, I am happy to send my testimony.

Twelve years ago I heard Christian Science spoken of for the first time. Upon several occasions I had received the Christian Science Sentinel, but without paying much attention to it. But one day I was attacked with severe pain in my stomach which lasted, without stopping, from eight to ten hours; and this recurred almost every day. Then a physician was called. He suggested an operation; but I would not consent to it, although I feared the pain so greatly that had I not had recourse to Christian Science I feel I should no longer be here. I called a Christian Science practitioner, to whom I repeated what the doctor had said of the symptoms. She worked for me, and also advised me not to use any more tobacco, alcohol, or medicine. It was very hard for me to part with all these harmful things; but I gave them all up immediately, and for twelve years have been free from all pain in the stomach. I have also been healed of dyspepsia and other physical ailments.

With all my heart I thank God for this healing, and also for having sent us our noble Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
