Announcement
The election of George Wendell Adams, C. S. B., as a Director of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, is hereby announced. Mr. Adams succeeds Adam H. Dickey, C. S. D., deceased, and will be nominated for the other official positions in the movement heretofore occupied by Mr. Dickey, but will resign the position he now holds as Clerk of The Mother Church.
A native of Kingston, Massachusetts, Mr. Adams was educated at Chauncy Hall School, at the Phillips Exeter Academy, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received instruction in Christian Science from Mrs. Eddy in 1898, and since that time has been a teacher of Christian Science. He was a First Member of The Mother Church, when this church had such officers, has served a term as First Reader of a branch church, and has rendered numerous other services in the affairs of Christian Science. For twenty-eight years, Mr. Adams has been continuously engaged in the practice of Christian Science in Boston.
