To an Easter Lily

NANCY JOSEPHINE GUTHRIE

Lovely Easter lily
Robed in purest white,
Unto Spirit yielding,
Speaks to us of light.
Ah! 't is always sharing
Love's unsullied hues,—
Unto earth is giving
Smiles of God to use.
Lovely, lovely lily,
Gratefully we sing
Of the wond'rous message
Easter lilies bring.
