Christian Science is mentioned in the account of a sermon as being one of several teaching which destroy faith in God, in Christ Jesus, in prayer, and as deceiving the people. Christian Science is doing the very opposite. It has already restored to faith in the Bible many thousands who had given up reading it. It has made practical the teachings of Christ Jesus, so that certain churches are again resorting to prayer for healing the sick. It has opened the eyes of thousands to the fact that true Christianity is available to-day, and always, for the redemption of mankind from sickness as well as from sin. There are people to be found in every quarter of the globe who are demonstrating in some measure the truths contained in the Bible, through the light thrown upon them by the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. These people are increasingly rejoicing in the fact that they can measurably unite with the Apostle James in saying, "Shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."
