Among the Churches
Current Notes
Muskogee, Oklahoma (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, located at the corner of Seventh and Court Streets, has recently been remodeled. A broad flight of stone steps and wide foyer with its flanking cloak rooms and triple entrance arches lead to the long auditorium. Nothing that contributes to the comfort and enjoyment of the congregation has been overlooked by the building committee, who worked out every detail in close collaboration with the architects. First Church of Christ, Scientist, has been in existence since the time when five or six Scientists gathered in their homes for the Sunday morning services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings some twenty years ago.

Webster Groves, Missouri (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, Webster Groves, has announced the opening of its church edifice. A Reading Room is maintained in the church and is open daily. The building is constructed of hollow tile, stucco finish, with a variegated tile roof. The main auditorium has a seating capacity of about four hundred. The Sunday school room will accommodate two hundred pupils.—Webster News-Times.
