Last summer I tripped over a rug, falling backward and striking my back against a shelf. The pain was intense; I felt as if my back had been broken. I tried to help myself, through my own understanding of Christian Science, but the pain continued. I was unable to sit up, and could not sleep. I then wrote to a Christian Science practitioner, and with her help I was able to sit up. After three days I was perfectly healed.

For this healing I am deeply grateful; also for the wonderful spiritual and mental help I have received through the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
