Mrs. Eddy discovered and founded Christian Science; she did not invent it. Christian Science is just what the name implies—the Science of the Christ, the teaching and healing of Jesus the Christ made available for our day and time and for all time. There is but one Truth. Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me;" and again, in the same chapter, he says, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." The fact that Christian Scientists are, in a measure, doing the works which Jesus did is proof that Christian Science is the Science of Christ.
