For the numerous blessings which have come to me...

For the numerous blessings which have come to me since I became a student of Christian Science I am truly grateful. About four years ago the physicians told me that I had appendicitis, and that an operation was necessary. I reluctantly said I would undergo this operation. The following day Christian Science was presented to me, so my husband asked a loving practitioner to treat me; and this discordant condition was destroyed with one absent treatment. Many other inharmonious conditions have been overcome since, such as influenza, colds, and hay fever.

I cannot find words to express my deep gratitude for all the blessings I have received through a small understanding of God, divine Principle, and for the great joy that has come with the spiritual uplift which follows obedience to God's perfect law. My desire is that my life may prove the story which my lips express. I am deeply grateful to God and His Christ, and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
