Letters from the Field

[Original letters in German]

"Each time a Herold reaches me I experience so much joy and happiness that I should like to give utterance to it in expressing my gratitude to you. I would ask you to kindly transmit my most fervent thanks to those who so lovingly provide us with spiritual food. We can lack nothing, for divine Love 'is all-inclusive,' as our dear Leader says (Science and Health, p. 331). She disclosed to us the foundation of true brotherhood, and 'blessed is that man who seeth his brother's need and supplieth it' (Ibid., p. 518). I have received so much through Christian Science,—everything, in fact, that I have and am,—that I feel impelled to tell you of it. Mentally and physically ill, filled with worry and grief, that is how Christian Science found me. My healing was a very, very slow one; but divine Science had for me 'a light above the sun, for God "is the light thereof"' (Science and Health, p. 558).

"In deep gratitude I greet you and all the dear brethren and sisters who help us, and have always helped us so much, in the spirit of Truth and Love.
