It has been nine years since I first began the study of Christian Science, and it is a great privilege to tell of the many healings received since I started the study of this truth. I have been healed of colds, headaches, nervousness, and many other ailments instantly. One experience I would like to mention in particular was the instantaneous healing of my little girl of the croup. She awakened us in the night fighting for breath, and as we had only been interested in Christian Science a short while we were very much worried, but telephoned a practitioner for help and the child was instantly healed.

For this and many other blessings I am truly grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy for pointing the way.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I express my appreciation for Christian Science and its many blessings. I have been interested in Christian Science for almost ten years, and during this time it has been my only physician. When I first began the study I was accustomed to sick headaches of long standing and would have a severe case almost every week, but have been completely healed of this trouble as well as many others.

On one occasion, while out fishing with a party of friends, a fishhook caught in the side of my finger next to the nail. The hook caught on the root of my nail and seemed impossible to remove. Knowing that my wife and I were the only Christian Scientists there, I kept quiet and asked her to help me. We declared the truth for possibly a minute and the hook was immediately removed without pain or trouble, and in a few minutes I had forgotten which finger it had been in. For this and many other healings I am truly grateful.

I am grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for her many writings, and for her understanding in establishing a religion that is so practical for everyday use and that will stand for all ages to come.—G. A. Coffey.

My family were much opposed to Christian Science and I, too, came to look upon its teachings as those of anti-Christ. Then my husband became interested in and began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. When he had studied for two years our oldest child was stricken with pneumonia, and after three days of medical treatment she seemed to be quietly going away. It was then that I reached out for Christian Science after having asked God to guide me. The healing was instantaneous. The practitioner had been in the house only about half an hour, when the child was up and dressed, running about the house, and asking for food. Her healing was perfect, and with it that verse from the Bible came to me: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." This verse seemed like the direct answer from God, and from that moment I knew that Christian Science was the truth I had hoped to find.

Since that time I have been healed of inflammation of the breast in one treatment; and a badly injured wrist was healed with only a few treatments. Our last little daughter's birth was painless and was a wonderful experience to us after having had two children born under the laws of materia medica. We have found this truth a priceless treasure in guiding our three children, and for their protection as well. They go out to play each day they wish to do so, and on their way to school they must cross busy streets; but over them I hold no fears of accidents or of sickness. Without my understanding of God as taught in Christian Science this freedom from fear would be impossible, because under the old beliefs each error that manifested itself in connection with the children so filled me with fear that I could not do the simplest things for them. For the Christian Science Sunday School I am very grateful.

Since coming East I have had the privilege of class instruction. The wonderful revelation of Truth that came to me then has indeed helped me to understand God better and to help myself and others more. I also wish to express gratitude to Christian Science for the healing of a great inharmony in our home, and that criticism, resentment, and self-pity are yielding to the power of Truth. I could not conclude this testimony without some expression of gratitude to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The more I understand of Christian Science the deeper grows my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, because I realize more how vast was the work for her to do and how completely she has accomplished that work.—(Mrs.) Rena L. I am very grateful for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought to me and to my family. A friend asked me to read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and before I had completed the first reading I was healed of wearing glasses, which I had worn for seven years. Other healings came to me as I learned more about this truth, and I was healed of indigestion and of catarrh. These I had suffered from all my life, and to be free was a transformation I had not thought possible. I have been healed of ulcers in the mouth, and lately I have had what seems to me to be my greatest blessing,—the clearing away of a mental dullness or morbidness and the coming of a much happier sense of life, and a new position where more harmony and toleration is manifested by my associates.
