I am very grateful that Christian Science has come into my life. About eighteen months ago I heard about Christian Science and took up the study of it for the healing of a nervous trouble I had been suffering from for over sixteen years. After being at my first Wednesday evening testimony meeting, at which I heard a lady giving her testimony of having been healed of the trouble from which I was suffering, I made up my mind to let nothing stand in the way of attending regularly. I went home, poured out all my drugs, and have not taken any since. I thought my healing was slow, but through studying Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and having help from practitioners, I found I was expecting to be freed from my trouble before I had tried to demonstrate over the smaller things of everyday life. After doing my best to overcome the smaller things and changing my thoughts from material to spiritual, my trouble gradually began to disappear. I have also been healed of bad temper, and that for me is a very great deal.

I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science, and also very grateful for the loving-kindness and patience of the practitioners and friends who have helped me.
