At the age of eight years I had inflammatory rheumatism, which left me with bones, tendons, and organs out of place, and also great physical suffering, which made attending school regularly impossible. When I was fourteen years of age my aunt was healed by reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. This so impressed me that within a year I began to attend the Christian Science Sunday school. Although my Sunday school work was of great assistance, I never attained the sense of physical healing until a year ago. At this time my father was healed through Christian Science treatment by a practitioner, and I then applied for help. Within two months the physical healing resulted in the readjustment of bones, tendons, and organs. With this healing came the understanding of Christian Science treatment as applied to physical healing.

I was sustained through those years of suffering by my love for the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, and I now feel that my life will prove my gratitude to God for the great good we have in Christian Science.
