I wish to express my thankfulness to God and my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the healing which my husband and I have received through Christian Science. I suffered from acute catarrh in the head for several years, during which time I used practically every material remedy, but they failed to effect a cure. After these years of suffering I contracted influenza and bronchitis. In the crisis of my illness Christian Science was introduced to me, and, drugs having failed to heal, I decided to have Christian Science treatment. From the moment I received my first treatment I was healed of a condition of despair, and with this healing the catarrh of long standing also disappeared. Since then I have never had any physical ailment whatsoever. Neither have I touched any medicine.

Another instance of the availability of God's power to heal was the overcoming of severe internal pains and rheumatism from which my husband had suffered for many weeks. He finally commenced the study of Christian Science, and with the help of a practitioner was restored to health. For these blessings I am deeply thankful, and I am also grateful to the practitioner for her loving help.—
