I wish to express my gratitude for all the good I have received through Christian Science. I have not had any big physical healing, but I have experienced considerably better health since I began the study of Christian Science. I was always considered delicate, and from a child had suffered from a very severe type of headache. As I grew up these headaches became more severe and frequent, and I was constantly taking medicine and tonics to relieve the pain, which relief was only temporary, and I felt it would be better to die than not to be able to enjoy the pleasures of life as other people did.

I had always read my Bible, and got a certain amount of consolation from it. The healing work of Jesus appealed to me, and I believed in the power of prayer to some extent. I prayed for light, and when Christian Science was presented to me shortly afterwards, I knew my prayer was answered. I got the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and read it, not having a single doubt that it was the truth. Slowly but surely as the truth contained in this book was unfolded to me, my headaches entirely disappeared and have never returned. I could never say in one testimony all that Christian Science has done for me. It has given me joy and peace and rest where before were fear, anxiety, and worry. It has simply changed my whole outlook on life, and my desire is so to live that my life may attest my sincerity.
