Some years ago, after suffering for years from the liquor...
Some years ago, after suffering for years from the liquor habit, and all of the ills that go with it, I staggered into a lodging house and on a stand in the hall found a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the first one I had ever seen. I took it to my room and read it for a while each evening for a week before I began to realize what it really meant, and then came the light. Through the patience and help of a practitioner I was healed of the liquor and cigarette habits, and many ills of the flesh. Since then I have not taken any medicine. Every need has been met by the law of God.
I am grateful for the literature; it has been a great help to me in my progress in Christian Science. I am also grateful to be able to help others, and for membership in The Mother Church. I am thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful truth.
