For the wonderful work that has been done for me...

For the wonderful work that has been done for me through Christian Science I can hardly find words to express my thankfulness. Some time ago I was taken with a very bad case of jaundice, and for four months I had the attention of four different doctors, without benefit. I was then taken with dropsy and I was bloated so very badly that I had to be sent to the hospital to be tapped. I left the hospital in two weeks, but had to return twice more for the same treatment, five weeks elapsing between the operations. Then the doctors said they could do nothing more for me, and all my friends felt the same. I was taken home, but I told them all I was not going to die. My wish was to get to a certain city where I had lived before. I made a great effort to do so and with the help of a Christian Science friend we arrived, far better than I expected, after five hours on the train. I was then bloated so badly I could hardly walk alone. In six weeks, through Christian Science treatment, I was my normal self again. I am so thankful to God for all my blessings and to the devoted practitioner who has been my helper at all times. I have the greatest reverence for Mrs. Eddy, for the grand work she has given us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I wish I could help others to know the peace of mind that is given to us through Christian Science. All the help I have asked for has been given me. In the words of the thirtieth psalm, "O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me."
