So much help has been received from reading the testimonies of healing that I am very glad to tell of some of the blessings my family and I have received through the study and practice of Christian Science. Since this wonderful Christ-healing was brought to our home, we have had so many proofs of God's ever presence to heal, to guard, to guide, and to provide for our every need, that it would be a task even to mention half of the blessings. My first healing came after years of semi-invalidism during which I was almost always under the care of a doctor. Finally there came a complete breakdown, and an operation was advised. This, with the kindest and best care at the hospital, gave only temporary relief. When the whole family seemed in the depths of despair, dear friends sent Christian Science literature, after asking if I would read it. Gaining a little glimpse of the truth, but still afraid that there might be something wrong or displeasing to God in the teachings, I was moved to say aloud, "Dear God, I must know the truth," and the answer came through instantaneous healing. I arose and dressed, and the next day began to take up my tasks in the home, gaining in strength all the time.

Four children have taken up the study of Christian Science, and for five years we have had the happiness of helping each other solve the problems that come daily to us all. It is such a blessed privilege to be a channel for good. I am trying to prove my thankfulness to God by the faithful study and application of Christian Science teaching. I am also very grateful to our Leader for her life of labor and sacrifice that makes possible so much happiness for all who will accept it.—(Mrs.) Lizzie G. Walrath, Arlington, Iowa.
